DAY 2: May 6th, 2025
Organized by the Environmental Engineers Team (EET), established in 2022 under the Kuwait Environment Protection Society (KEPS). KEPS has been a leading civil society organization in the environmental field since 1974 and is celebrating its golden jubilee this year, marking 50 years since its founding.
In Kuwait, environmental engineers often encounter limited career opportunities, confined to roles that restrict the full utilization of their extensive engineering capabilities. This first-of-its-kind initiative aims to highlight the importance of the national cadres of students majoring in environmental engineering and their contributions to sustainable development by providing a platform to showcase their innovations in an annual exhibition.
This platform hosts an exhibition where environmental engineers present their projects to the public, sector leaders, and prominent government figures. The goal is to enhance the recognition of environmental engineers within Kuwait’s private and public sectors, emphasizing their vital role in advancing sustainability efforts.
KEE 2025 is honored to be under the official sponsorship of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, reaffirming the commitment to sustainability and the role of environmental engineers in Kuwait’s development.
His Excellency Mr. Tariq Suleiman Ahmed Al-Roumi will attend and inaugurate the KEE 2025 opening ceremony, reinforcing the government’s support for environmental engineering initiatives.
