ABOUT KEE

Understand our motive and approach into enhancing the recognition of environmental engineering in Kuwait.

OBJECTIVES

  • Highlight the important roles that environmental engineers play in promoting sustainability in Kuwait.
  • Provide these talented professionals with a platform to truly showcase what they can offer.
  • Present capstone and senior projects to leaders from various sectors, as well as elite government figures.
  • Emphasize the depth of expertise that environmental engineers possess by focusing on the diversity of these projects across multiple fields.
  • Improve the labor market's perception of these engineers' potential. We are committed to making a real difference by helping environmental engineers gain recognition for their broad attributions.
  • Open up more job opportunities and encourage the widespread adoption of sustainable practices in both the public and private sectors.
  • Present capstone and senior projects to leaders from various sectors, as well as elite government figures.
  • We hope to see more career paths and policy developments that include the critical role played by Kuwaiti environmental engineers.

FEATURES

This forum focuses on providing a platform where Kuwaiti environmental engineers will be provided a booth to showcase their senior projects or other works, displaying and highlighting innovative ideas and their engineering capabilities directly to the public and influential figures.

Our goal is to pave the way for more comprehensive forums with panels consisting of expert speakers in the coming years.

AUDIENCE

This event was crafted to foster an inclusive environment where seasoned professionals and up-and-coming environmental engineers can share knowledge and collaborate.

We aim to inspire more students to major in environmental engineering and consider studying abroad to broaden their expertise. EET hopes to encourage solidarity from allied fields interested in advancing sustainable development practices for Kuwait’s future.

Therefore, we invite diverse participants, including Kuwaiti environmental engineers, educators, industry leaders, and governmental policymakers.
